VISION 2026 Stuttgart: Our First Time as an Exhibitor at the Machine Vision Summit
VISION, held at Messe Stuttgart from 6 to 8 October 2026, was the third trade fair we attended in Germany this year. But it had one important difference: VISION takes place every two years and is regarded as the most important gathering of the machine vision industry worldwide. And this time we were there not as visitors, but as exhibitors.
We took part at the booth of our image processing partner OPT Machine Vision (Hall 8, Booth 8A61) with MIS-TOUCH, the robotic hand we developed in-house.

Why VISION?
For us, the real value of this fair was seeing in one place where the machine vision industry is heading. Being an exhibitor let us read that picture from both sides: manufacturers showing their products on one side, customers preparing to invest on the other. For three days we could follow the dynamics of the market from both the supply and the demand side.
Who Visited Us?
The fair went well. Alongside customers from Turkey, we saw strong interest from the Balkans, Germany and Italy.
What pleased us most was the visitor profile. Most of the people who stopped by knew exactly what they were looking for and had a concrete project in hand.

The Common Theme: Unmanned Solutions
Whatever country visitors came from, almost every conversation ended up at the same point: unmanned production. Companies are no longer satisfied with automating individual tasks; they are looking for solutions that can also take over the last steps that still need a human hand.
Our answer to that question was MIS-TOUCH. By demonstrating MIS-TOUCH live at the booth, we showed how it can work together with OPT's machine vision products. Throughout the fair we worked in sync with the OPT team.
This setup laid a strong foundation not only for existing customers but also for creating new demand going forward.
OPT's New Products at VISION
We also had the chance to take a close look at OPT Machine Vision's latest products:
- New-generation Smart Vision Sensor solutions
- SWIR camera technologies and an expanding range of lenses
- A new 3D camera family developed for humanoid robots

Thank You
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth, to the OPT Machine Vision team, and to Mert Güçük for walking us through the new products. See you again at VISION 2028.
Next Step
MIS-TOUCH is our tactile robot hand with 508 pressure sensors. Its hybrid force-position control lets it grip parts precisely, so you can hand repetitive tasks that need a human hand over to a robot. If you are an automotive, food, packaging or home appliance manufacturer and want to discuss application scenarios, start a project conversation.
